This year the only forms needed to apply for 2007 Staff Cadet Summer Training opportunities are the Fortress CF 51 and a copy of your Social Insurance Number (SIN) card. Have your cadet corps/squadron staff review your Cadet Service record to ensure all your personal and training information is correct.

Completed CF51s and copies of SIN cards will be forwarded through your cadet corps/squadron CO to the Detachment and onward to the Regional HQ by 1 February 2007. Once we receive your application we will review your Cadet Service Record from Fortress and rate you and your peers for Staff Cadet opportunities. You will be rated on your Rank, Training Level, Qualifications (i.e. First Aid, D of E, Marksmanship) Previous Courses/Exchanges, Honours and Awards and COs recommendation. If the information in Fortress is absent or incorrect you will not receive credit for it.

Take the time now to review your Cadet Service record and get your application submitted on time. Advanced Training will be offered to Senior Cadets after Scholarships and Senior Exchanges are announced in April 2007.
