 Officer, Corporate Security (Risk Management Network)

 Challenge: Reporting directly to the Manager, Corporate Security, Risk Management Network, the Officer is primarily responsible for working with various internal stakeholders, commercial customers and law enforcement agencies to identify and develop strategies to minimize crime risk exposures associated with distribution and supply chain networks.

The Officer, Corporate Security is knowledgeable of current security technologies, best practices and concepts and understands how they relate with both CPC's and various industry sectors business strategies. Additionally, the Officer, Corporate Security will facilitate formal best practice/consultative presentations to small and large audience groups, as a recognized industry subject matter expert.

The Officer, Corporate Security analyzes and identifies risks; active and emerging threats and known exploits and vulnerabilities using data filtering applications to support shipping decision support modeling.

The Officer, Corporate Security assists commercial customers in proactively managing the risks of product delivery by merging resources, alliances/partnerships and mutually supportive customer relationships to provide a competitive advantage for Canada Post Group of Companies.

Supports the investigative process according to statutes, regulations, standards policies and procedures while adhering to the highest standards of ethics and minimizing the threat of corporate liabilities

As a business partner, participates in the implementation of recommendations and the development of customized solutions as well as ensures an understanding of the corporate security principles throughout the organization.
 

  
 Education: Degree or equivalent work related experience in an area relevant to this position. (Criminology, Business Administration, Security Management, or Criminal Justice). Completion of one or more Security Management professional certification such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
 
  
 Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Risk Management, private sector Corporate Security or Law Enforcement. Demonstrated experience and exposure in a regional, national and/or international level dealing with security related issues and / or crime risk management, with a proven record of accomplishments.
 
  
 Other Requirements: Must meet " Top Secret " security level. Travel required.
