JoAnn MacKenzie

Director General, Corporate Services

Born in Kingston, Ontario, JoAnn MacKenzie pursued her post secondary education at the University of Ottawa in Business Administration. Ms. MacKenzie began her career in the federal public service in 1972 with the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs where she held various positions of increasing responsibility in the Human Resources Directorate and the Social Development and Education Branch within the Indian Affairs Program. She joined the Office of the Secretary to the Governor General in 1986 as Chief, Financial Services and later served as Director, Finance, and Materiel Management. In March 2004, JoAnn MacKenzie was appointed to the position of Director General, Corporate Services.
