Body & Land

Featured as part of the residence tour, this exhibition showcases select silkscreen prints from the artist's book The Journals of Susanna Moodie by author Margaret Atwood and artist Charles Pachter. From the colonial experience of pioneer and romantic author Susanna Moodie, these two great Canadians take a pointed look at the themes of immigration, solitude, and the search for a sense of belonging to a society.

The original edition of the artist's book was published in 1980. The copy on display at Rideau Hall was donated to the Canadian Fund by Charles Pachter.

On display until March 2007.
