Governor General honours finest Canadian History Teachers

OTTAWA - Her Excellency the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, Governor General of Canada, will present the Governor General's Award for Excellence in Teaching Canadian History at Rideau Hall, tomorrow, Saturday, October 13 at 10 a.m.

The Award is a program administered by Canada's National History Society. Every year, the award recognizes a teacher who has inspired and challenged students about Canadian History.

The winner of the award will be announced at the ceremony. This year's finalists are.
