International Reply Coupon

International Reply Coupon is a coupon that may be purchased in Canada and sent in a letter or parcel to be exchanged by a recipient in any member country of the Universal Postal Union (UPU).

The recipient can exchange one coupon for the reply postage required (in the form of postage stamps or postal stationery with preprinted stamps) for an international unregistered airmail letter weighing not more than 30 g.

The use of an International Reply Coupon carries the following restrictions:

  1. coupons can be exchanged for postage only
  2. coupons cannot be used for remittance purposes
  3. post offices in other countries may have restrictions on the number of coupons they will exchange at one time
  4. a single coupon is required for minimum postage for an unregistered airmail letter in any country of the Universal Postal Union for delivery in another member country.

  • Credit card (where available)
  • Debit card (where available)
  • Money Order
  • Postage stamp
  • Traveller’s cheque.
