Canada Post in assessing environmental products through its buying practices relies on some form of product certification or testing performed by a third party such as Environment Canada and the National Research Council (NRC).
If you consider pursuing Business Opportunities relating to energy environmental products with CPC, Environment Canada has an Environmental Technology Verification Program. Details relating to their certification program can be found at www.etvcanada.com
For purchases not subject to NAFTA, suppliers may be identified from past experience with Canada Post, industry directories, catalogues and journals, trade shows and conferences. From time to time we supplement our sourcing with notices published electronically.
