Decorations for Bravery

The Governor General is joined by Senior Constable Curtis Rutt, Mrs. Margaret Nicholson, holding a picture of her son, and Constable Robert Sauvé. Mrs. Nicholson received the Medal of Bravery as a posthumous honour to her son, Constable David Rodney Nicholson, who died trying to save a drowning boy. Constables Sauve and Rutt also received the award.
