The Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General, receives daffodils from Hannah Billings (left) and Keanon Saleh-Basha (right) on March 28, 2006, in the greenhouse of Rideau Hall to kick off the Canadian Cancer Society’s 2006 Daffodil Month. Both children have cancer and are part of this year’s campaign to raise funds for cancer research.
