Photo GalleryVisit to Grise FiordOn June 17, 2005, Governor General Clarkson visited Grise Fiord, Canada’s most northern community, located 1 150 km above the Arctic Circle. Following the lighting of a qulliq (a seal oil lamp), Her Worship Liza Ningiuk, Mayor of Grise Fiord, offered welcoming remarks.
