Her Excellency the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, Governor General of Canada and Honorary Commanding Officer of the RCMP Musical Ride, accompanied by His Excellency John Ralston Saul, during the Canadian Sunset Ceremony on Saturday, July 2, 2005, at the RCMP stables located at the Canadian Police College in Ottawa. The theme of the ceremony is "Celebrating our Veterans" in recognition of the Year of the Veterans and the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
