60^th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands

Her Excellency the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, Governor General of Canada, stands on a dais in the company of Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, during the welcoming ceremony held on May 2, 2005, on the grounds of Noordeinde Palace in the Hague. The Governor General represented Canada during official ceremonies commemorating the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands.
