Remembrance Day 2005

Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada, lays a wreath during the installation ceremony of the Seventh Book of Remembrance titled In the Service of Canada, on November 11, 2005, in Ottawa. This book contains the names of members of the Canadian Forces who have lost their lives in the line of duty since October 1, 1947.
