State Visit to Germany

Vancouver artist Ken Lum stands in front of his artwork entitled There is No Place Like Home with Governor General Adrienne Clarkson during a State Visit to Germany.  The piece, a 4 by 18 metre large banner, is an artistic commentary on immigration and multiculturalism in a Western context.  It is currently on display until the end of November in front of the Has des Kulturen der Welt (the House of the Cultures of the World) in downtown Berlin.
