HMCS Montreal / HMCS Winnipeg

Having traded ranks with the most junior members of the HMCS Winnipeg crew–as is the tradition at Christmas in the Navy– "Ordinary Seaman" Adrienne Clarkson, and "Ordinary Seaman" Kelly Williams (normally the Captain), load up with plates from Lt Cynthia Fournier as they get ready to serve Christmas dinner to the crew. The Governor General and her husband John Ralston Saul spent Christmas Eve aboard the HMCS Montreal, Christmas day aboard the Winnipeg and Boxing Day visiting land-based Canadian troops in the region.
