The Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General, meets with the president of Italy, His Excellency Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, at the Quirinale Palace in Rome. The meeting took place on February 27, 2006, during a visit to Italy to attend the closing ceremonies of the 2006 Olympic Winter Games.
