Louis F. O’Brien is Senior Vice-President, Parcels. In addition, he is Chairman of the Board of Intelcom Courier Inc. (2001), Director of Purolator (2005) and Director of Progistix-Solutions Inc. (2001). He joined CPC in 1992 as Corporate Manager, Corporate Development and has since held the positions of Corporate Manager, Commercial Operations Finance (covering Marketing, Sales, and Retail), Corporate Comptroller, Vice President and Controller, and most recently Vice-President, Business Transformation and Sourcing Management. He has had an extensive career in Finance in several industries, most recently as Vice President, Corporate Planning for a group of Irving companies based in Moncton, including Midland Transport/Courier, Cavendish Farms, and Majesta Tissues. He also held the position of Treasurer and CFO of Fleck Manufacturing, a multinational wire, cable and wiring harness manufacturer, for 8 years. His finance development started with 5 years of rapidly increasing responsibilities with Procter & Gamble in Toronto and Belleville.
Mr. O'Brien is a professional engineer, with an MBA in Production and Finance from Queen's University. He is the past Chairman of the Board of the SCO Health Services, a $100 million chronic, palliative, and long-term care group. He is married, and has two children
