Michel Dozois
Producer, Community Programming and Special Events
A Montreal native, Michel Dozois trained as a dancer at the MUDRA school in Belgium and pursued a successful dance career with le Groupe Nouvel Aire de Montréal in the 1970s. He was also employed as a stage manager, lighting technician, and freelance technical director, working on numerous tours and with many of the dance companies in Montreal. Mr. Dozois joined the National Arts Centre as a technical director in the early 1980s. During the last decade, he worked closely with Jack Udashkin as Associate Producer for Dance and Special Projects before heading the department as Producer. Among his credits are the spectacular "Harmony 2000" event produced last year for the Casino de Hull.
