This position was unanimously adopted by NACA members at the 41st Council Meeting, February 7-9, 1995 National Advisory Council on Aging In this report, NACA assesses the progress made in developing community services in health care for seniors across Canada and identifies impediments and gaps. This report is based on a review of recent policy literature as well as a telephone consultation with 42 informants, representing seniors' organizations, service-providers, provincial seniors advisory councils, provincial government officials and experts in the field of community care.
