In this report, NACA assesses the progress made in developing community services in health care for seniors across Canada and identifies impediments and gaps. This report is based on a review of recent policy literature as well as a telephone consultation with 42 informants, representing seniors' organizations, service-providers, provincial seniors advisory councils, provincial government officials and experts in the field of community care.
