Reunions and Events
- Winnipeg-born Pilot Officer Andrew Mynarski was the last
Canadian in World War Two to be awarded the Victoria Cross for
bravery. A group of community leaders in Winnipeg and across Canada have
recently undertaken a fund-raising project to re-cast the original mold
of the Keith Maddison sculpture of P/O Andrew Mynarski placed at Middleton
St. George in Northern England !
