Lockheed 10A Electra

1528 was one of 15 Electras in RCAF service from 23 October, 1939 to 2 May, 1946 and also bore the registration numbers CF-BAF with Canadain Airways Limited, CF-HED, and N16222 during its lifetime. Following the trend of current airliner design, it was a low winged monoplane with twin engines, retractable undercarriage, and all metal construction. It carried a crew of two and had accommodation for ten passengers, and when first put into service with Canadian Airways Limited in August 1936 it was the fastest Aircraft flying in Canada at the time, civil or military.
