14 Wing Greenwood's maritime patrol squadrons are equipped with a total of 13 CP-140 Auroras.

For almost 20 years, the Aurora has provided yeoman service carrying out reconnaissance of the east coast and adjacent Atlantic waters. In addition, three CP-140A Arcturus Aircraft augment the Auroras in conducting patrols for illegal fishing, pollution, drugs and migration.

413 Transport and Rescue Squadron has a fleet of CH-149 Cormorant helicopters and four CC-130 Hercules to cover its 1,800,000 square mile search and rescue zone. The Hercules is also employed in humanitarian missions and supporting Army operations.
