OTTAWA -- Subscriber Priority Week is now underway – until Saturday September 2 – at the National Arts Centre. During this special week, all NAC subscribers and donors have front-of-the-line privileges to purchase tickets to NACO, English Theatre, French Theatre, and Dance performances at a 10-15% discount – before they go on sale to the general public. NEW THIS SEASON: all ticket exchanges are free of charge for subscribers. Subscribers and donors are lining up to buy tickets to such special presentations as The Nutcracker, Kodo Drummers, The Wrong Son, Handel’s Messiah, Christmas with the NAC Orchestra, Traces, La La La Human Steps, and the Kirov Ballet’s Swan Lake.

The NAC Box Office opens to the general public on Tuesday, September 5 at 10:00.

QUEBEC SCENE (April 20-May 5, 2007) SPECIAL OFFER: with special coupon, purchase one Quebec Scene ticket (for a performance taking place at the National Arts Centre) at regular price and get a second one free. Quebec Scene encompasses 700 artists and 100 events in 16 days – music, theatre, literature, visual and media arts, dance, film, circus, comedy, storytelling, and culinary arts.

SUBSCRIPTION PACKAGES to the 2006-2007 NACO, English Theatre, French Theatre, and Dance seasons are on sale during Subscriber Priority Week. Subscribers save significantly on regular ticket prices and may also create their own subscription series within each artistic discipline. Full-time students save 50% when purchasing subscriptions.
