MoucheTaBouche: Gypsy fire with a French accent
October 17, 2006 -
Ottawa -- On Friday, October 27 at 20:00, the lively rhythms of Ottawa/Gatineau-based quartet MoucheTaBouche will transform the National Arts Centre (NAC) Fourth Stage into a gypsy encampment—well, almost! This is the group’s final public appearance before they go into seclusion to concentrate on writing, so come on out and enjoy the show!
MoucheTaBouche is four talented musicians on accordion, fiddle, guitar and double bass. MoucheTaBouche is all about the joy of making and sharing music, from flamboyant gypsy numbers to heart-wrenching soulful tunes… and they can heat up a room like nobody else. Come discover the fiery, sensual music of Eastern Europe, seasoned with a few French chansons and a touch of gypsy jazz.
