Watch the Stars come out for
April 23, 2002 -
After a one-year hiatus, the AIDS Committee of Ottawa (ACO) is
pleased and proud to announce a star-studded line-up for the sixth
edition of "The Stage For AIDS / Les ARTS pour la vie". This
year's fundraising benefit, produced by the ACO, in association
with the National Arts Centre, will be presented in the NAC's
Southam Hall on Monday, June 17, 2002 at 8.00 p.m.
The ACO welcomes the pharmaceutical group, GlaxoSmithKline in
partnership with Shire Biochem, as the Presenting Sponsor for this
annual benefit, which is now the ACO's premiere fundraising
event. Ottawa's principal HIV/AIDS front-line service agency,
the ACO delivers programs and services to people living with HIV/AIDS
and their families, as well as providing education, community
outreach and advocacy programs to help reduce the spread of HIV.
