And the Winners Are... The National Arts Centre congratulates the National Champions of the 26th season of the Canadian Improv Games

Ottawa -- Tonight, in front of a packed audience of extremely enthusiastic fans, supporters and peers, and at the end of a week of National Semi-Finals, the champions of the National Finals of the Canadian Improv Games 2003 were declared. The National Arts Centre is delighted to add its congratulations to those of the thousands of fans across the country who couldn't be in Ottawa tonight. Congratulations Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts from North York, Ontario!!!!!
This 26th season of Canadian Improv Games has been another wonderful success for the Canadian Improv Games and the NAC would like recognize the hard work and talent of each and every one of the teams that competed this year, and in particular the 20 dedicated teams from Victoria, BC to St. John's, Nfld., whose wit and skill won them a place in the National Semi-Finals. In addition, the NAC salutes the parents, teachers and many volunteer coaches and supporters whose enthusiasm, drive and generosity ensure that the Canadian Improv Games continues to have a uniquely positive and rewarding impact on the lives of young people across the country, by teaching life skills, endowing self-esteem and enabling young people to form strong friendships and team spirit in a stimulating, caring and above all fun environment.
