Ottawa -- The National Arts Centre’s Fourth Stage and Chapters Inc. is proud to present a free lunchtime event on March 15 at 12:30 (duration 1 hour) exploring the ancient art of storytelling with performances from the two Fourth Stage series: les Contes nomades and Ottawa Storytellers.

Attendees will get a chance to experience the ancient art of storytelling through entertaining English and French stories, ask the experts questions about this oral tradition, and learn more about these two series that have been delighting Fourth Stage audiences for the past three years.  Visitors are invited to enjoy free coffee generously donated by Starbucks while they listen in.

Ottawa Storytellers, an adult English storytelling series, performs Thursday nights at 19:30 from January to May 2005. Tickets are $15 or $10 for students. Contes nomades, a French storytelling series, performs Friday nights at 20:00 from January to April. Tickets are $15. Both series perform at the NAC’s Fourth Stage and tickets can be purchased at the NAC Box Office (in person) or through Ticketmaster (with surcharges) at 613-755-1111.
