Following the success of the DHC-3 Otter, de Havilland
developed the Twin Otter in the late 60s. Nine Twin Otters were bought
by the Canadian Forces in 1971 as a light transport and search and rescue
Aircraft. This Twin Otter is on the ramp at Namao, running up its engines
prior to a flight.
