On December 5, 2006, an Arts & Entertainment crew from CBC Halifax will be making their way to Kandahar, Afghanistan to put on a show for the troops and capture the experience for a CBC special which will be broadcast on the network at a later date.

Military Family Resource Centres (MFRC) across the country have been requested to supply a signed 2' x 2' piece of fabric, with the signatures of soldiers, military families and ordinary Canadians who want to wish our soldiers well during their mission in Afghanistan. Each piece of cloth will be joined to create a large banner, which will be unfurled by the entertainers as a very special ending to the show.

If you wish to sign this piece of cloth drop in to the 19 Wing Fitness & Community Centre across from the base, Nov 22-24 from 8am - 4pm, or at the Comox MFRC's Garage Sale fundraiser Saturday, November 25 from 8am - 2pm.

Let's challenge ourselves to get as many signatures as possible!
