Members of the media are invited to observe the events taking place on Monday, November 27th at 2:00 P.M. in the Wing Commander's Conference Room, as 19 Wing gets ready to send off packages to deployed military members.

Christmas is a time for family and friends to come together and experience the joys of giving.  Unfortunately, military duty means some local families won't get the chance to unite over the holidays.

This year, many personnel from 19 Wing will be away from their homes, their families and their friends as they participate in peacekeeping operations worldwide during Christmas.

We hope that the personalized packages will bring them enough Comox Valley Christmas cheer to last until their return.
