In Memory of Sindi Medar-Gould

CWGL is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Sindi Medar-Gould, Global Training Senior Advisor for Women's Learning Partnership and former Executive Director of BAOBAB for Women's Human Rights in Nigeria. Sindi was a longtime colleague and friend of CWGL. From our work with her on the WLUML women's global leadership institute held in Lagos in 1999 to our 2009 meeting on women's human rights defenders, Sindi was a trusted partner and mentor. Her life-long dedication to women's rights, conflict resolution and human rights and the global feminist movement inspired all that met and worked with her. Our thoughts are with her family during this hard time.
