Letter to President Fox with respect to the situation in Oaxaca

The social and political conflict prevailing in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico over the last few months, has given rise to a situation of violence and instability. Rights & Democracy, along with thirty other human rights organizations, concerned by the deaths and human rights violations in Oaxaca wrote to President Fox urging him to take the necessary steps to ensure that a peaceful and long-term solution, involving all parties, be negociated.
