Highway 3 Functional Planning StudyIntroductionAlberta Infrastructure and Transportation is currently in the process of conducting a functional planning study of the Highway 3 Corridor within the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass, from the BC/Alberta border to east of Frank. This is a long-term planning study, but will provide phased improvements leading to an ultimate freeway for Highway 3, consistent with the National Highway Standard for interprovincial travel. The study is conducted on behalf of Alberta Infrastructure and Transportation by McElhanney Consulting Services Ltd. Your input is a valued component of this study and we encourage you to send in your issues and concerns with this project. We also encourage you to attend any of our three planned open house sessions during the course of this study. The links to the left provide information on the study progress, as well as an opportunity for your feedback directly to the study team. Please check these pages often for the latest information. |
