Drinking Water Quality

Assuring the safety of the public's regulated drinking water supply is a department priority.  One way to do this is to give Albertans access to water facility data via the Internet.

Electronic Reporting of Approved Waterworks' Drinking Water Quality Monitoring Information

This initiative focuses on web-enabled reporting of monitoring information gathered by Approval Holders and reported to Alberta Environment.

  • This information has the greatest value as an indicator that water treatment facilities meet drinking water quality performance standards.
  • Other information, e.g., Operating Conditions, will continue to be reported in paper form.
