Information About Air

In this section you will find a short history of air quality management in Alberta. A number of definitions of words and terms used on this site are provided. A short description of research undertaken by the Air Research Users Group is included.

Learn about air quality and the factors that may play a role in air quality. Information is also provided on how changes in air quality can affect human and ecosystem health.

You will also find information on the natural and anthropogenic factors that can affect air quality, and choices that you can to help keep Alberta's air clean.
