Results Oriented Government
A Guide to Strategic Planning and Performance Measurement
in the Alberta Government

The Results Oriented Government (ROG) training materials cover the topics listed below in seven comprehensive modules. The "Overview and Introduction" link provides a two-page summary of each module, while the other links will take you to more detailed overviews of the modules.

If you are interested in looking at the materials in more detail than provided through the links, contact your ministry’s strategic planning/performance measurement group. These individuals have access to the complete hard copy and the electronic version of the three-volume set totaling over 1200 pages of lesson plans and overheads provided to each ministry.

If you are interested in using the materials to provide training to your ministry staff, a database of consultants who can adapt or deliver the ROG materials is available. For more information or to access the database, contact your staff training people in your ministry's human resources area.

If you have a performance measurement question not addressed in the materials, please contact your ministry’s strategic planning/performance measurement group or the Performance Measurement Group in Alberta Finance at 427-8417.

Note:  you need Acrobat Reader in order to view these PDF files. If you do not have Acrobat Reader, you can download a free copy.
