Wainwright is the site of Market Masters—Marketing Options in a Changing Environment. It’s an information session to assist in making good marketing decisions this fall. On the agenda, Peggy Checkel who will be discussing price discovery, break evens and direct marketing, along with value added chains for primary producers; and Lyndsay Rutledge who will be looking at the cattle cycle, markets and related trends. Joel Salatin is in the province giving his presentation Family Friendly Farming at a number of locations this week. He’s at the Westlock Memorial Hall tomorrow, the Fort Saskatchewan Dow Centennial Centre on Thursday, and the Redwater Derrick Hall and Muir Lake Community Hall on Friday.
