The Canadian Cattlemen’s Association has been in discussion with the federal government on a number of priority action items dealing with international trade. President Hugh Lynch-Staunton says one of the items calls on the federal government to work to have Canada included in the BSE “controlled risk” category at the OIE, the world animal health body.
