| The Alberta Farm Animal Care Association (AFAC) is partnering with Olds College extension to present cattle and hog modules of the Quality Livestock Transport training program (QLTT). The program is being held at Olds College on September 16 and 17, 2006. The first day of this two-day course includes QLTT classroom instruction and written test (cattle and hog); the National Pork Board's Trucker Quality Assurance (TQA) program and a QLT certificate of completion of classroom training. The second day is devoted to hands-on loading of cattle and hogs in the college facility. This second day is optional. Cost of the course is $325 plus GST for the two days, $160 plus GST for day one only, and $200 plus GST day to participate in day two only.
