Community Contribution Award
Nominees must be a community group or organization in Alberta that has made efforts to improve the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities and recognizes that individuals can fully participate in their community.

Norm McLeod
During his 35-year career in the disability field, Norm McLeod inspired those around him with his untiring commitment to the values of community inclusion. His personal vision is one in which people with developmental disabilities live, work, learn, and participate as full citizens in their communities. Norm was instrumental in establishing the legislation that created the PDD Program.
