Advisory Council on Alberta-Ukraine Relations (ACAUR)

With over 250,000 Albertans of Ukrainian descent, Alberta is home to the largest population of Ukrainian-Canadians in western Canada. To better understand and manage the issues and opportunities related to Alberta-Ukraine relations, and to work with Alberta's Ukrainian community on these matters, the Government of Alberta has established an Advisory Council on Alberta-Ukraine Relations (ACAUR). The Council focuses on areas such as:

- Public sector reform

- Economic co-operation

- Humanitarian programs

- Agriculture

- Closer intergovernmental relations
