Around Alberta

Greyhound bus routes fan out from Calgary and Edmonton to points around the province—as well as the rest of Canada. The main routes through Alberta are along the scenic TransCanada Highway (Hwy 1) between Banff and Calgary; Highway 2, which connects Lethbridge, Calgary, Red Deer and Edmonton; and the northern Yellowhead Highway that can take you from Edmonton to Jasper National Park. Greyhound's North America Discovery Pass is a great way to travel. The pass is valid on all routes in Canada and the U.S. Whether you're looking for one week or a three month pass, they are available for  purchase any bus depot.

Red Arrow operates a bus service between Calgary, Red Deer, Edmonton and Fort McMurray. Perfect for the business traveller, these comfortable coaches are equipped with fold-down tables, laptop plug-ins and a range of complimentary snacks and beverages. Free movies are also available. Seat assignments can be booked in advance. Book early—this is a very popular service.
