Area Overview

Located just east of Red Deer, Delburne began with the survey of the railroad in 1910. The townsite was put on sale in October of that year, attracting an influx of people eager to start a new community. It was incorporated as a village on January 13, 1913.

Today, Delburne is a thriving village with a strong community spirit. It retains the benefits of small town living, with easy access to the amenities of the larger urban centre of Red Deer. The Village has maintained a steady, manageable growth over the past few years.
