Information Access, Management & Privacy

Alberta Government Services co-ordinates the administration of Alberta's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP), the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the Government of Alberta Information Management program. The department works closely with other ministries and public sectors organizations, providing advisory services, publications and training to help them understand and comply with the relevant legislation.
