Who We Are
Travel Alberta is the official destination marketing organization for the province of Alberta. Funded by the Government of Alberta through the four per cent Tourism Levy on accommodations, we promote Alberta as a tourist destination regionally, nationally, and internationally to increase the number of visitors to and within Alberta.

Visitor Information Centres
We have 10 Travel Alberta Visitor Information centres strategically located at points of entry to the province and at other high traffic locations in Alberta. Stop in to speak with a knowledgeable Travel Alberta counsellor. All are well versed on local and regional attractions and travel requirements and are happy to assist you with trip planning. Alberta's tourism industry generates more than $5 billion in revenues plus more than $2.3 billion in taxation revenues to federal, provincial and municipal governments.
