Welcome to the Millarville Racing and Agriculture
Society web site. We are one of Alberta's oldest community
organizations, located approximately 30 minutes south west of Calgary, Alberta
in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. We are an organization which thrives on community spirit. Millarville is home to
Canada's oldest race track and racing event. The annual
Millarville race meet on Canada Day has been a success for 101 years and
counting. We would like to invite you and your friends for a
unique racing experience. Enjoy Pari-Mutuel betting, beer gardens, children's
events and the beauty of the Alberta foothills on July 1st. Stay the weekend and
take in the Canadian Professional Chuck wagon Association
4th annual race.
In 1907, the people of Millarville and Priddis decided they should have an
agricultural fair. One hundred years later the community is
still celebrating their agricultural and artistic history with a traditional
country fair. The Priddis and Millarville Fair is one of
Canada's pre-eminent traditional fairs with thousands of displays and
competitors. We would like to encourage you to enter our fair, or simply join us
to view the displays and livestock competitions.
Nowhere in southern Alberta can you find more fresh produce and
unique goods than at the Millarville Farmers' Market. With

feature everyone's favourite wild events including bull riding, steer wrestling,
saddle and bareback bronc riding, barrel racing and calf roping. Be prepared to
be on the edge of your seat for one of the best rodeos in Alberta. You'll
