“He is a mesmerizingly fluid and expressive guitarist” -- The Independent
Following a 14 country sold-out European tour with an impressive seven-night run at London’s Royal Albert Hall and a historic show in Moscow’s Red Square, Eric Clapton will embark on a North American tour that will include four Western Canadian dates.
On this tour, Eric Clapton is revisiting songs from throughout his legendary career, including these early 70s tracks and rarely played Derek and the Dominos masterpieces: “Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad,” “After Midnight,” “Let It Rain,” “I Shot the Sheriff,” “Cocaine,” “Bell Bottom Blues,” “Motherless Children,” “Layla” as well as performing some newer soulful tunes from his latest album Back Home. Adding additional guitar power and excitement to the shows, Eric Clapton has assembled an impressive band. The touring band features Doyle Bramhall II on guitar, Willie Weeks on bass, Steve Jordan on drums, Chris Stainton and Tim Carmon on keyboards and a full horn section, plus newly recruited Allman Brothers Band slide guitarist Derek Trucks. Special Guest Robert Cray has been joining in for a 4-guitar rendition of the Robert Johnson classic “Crossroads”.
Don’t miss this chance to see three-time Rock N’ Roll Hall of Famer and 16-time Grammy Award winner Eric Clapton in another exhilarating concert experience with special guests The Robert Cray Band on March 26th at Rexall Place!
