	Congratulations to Dr. Fred Bentley, renowned soil scientist and past Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Alberta, who was named the 2006 recipient of the Growing Alberta Distinguished Service Award. This award is given to an Albertan who has contributed significantly to the advancement of the agriculture and food industry through a lifetime of dedication and service.
