Eligibility for Raffle Licence Application

A raffle licence authorizes charitable or religious organizations to conduct a lottery scheme in which tickets or prize bonds are sold for a chance to win prizes. (If your group has never held any type of gaming licence and is interested in conducting a raffle with a total ticket value $10,000 or less, please complete this Eligibility for a Raffle Licence application). The Terms & Conditions ensure the integrity of licensed raffles in Alberta and maximize the financial returns to charitable organizations. (NOTE: All raffle licences with a total ticket value of $10,000 or less, may be obtained from your local Registry Agent). (LIC/GAM 5416-2)
Raffle Ticket Inventory Control Procedures
Ticket and financial control forms are a requirement for all raffle licences. These forms facilitate the physical control and monitoring of raffle tickets issued and returned and cash related thereto.
