Raffles $10,000 & Under

Eligibility for Raffle Licence Application PDF

(total ticket value $10,000 or less only)
A raffle licence authorizes charitable or religious organizations to conduct a lottery scheme in which tickets or prize bonds are sold for a chance to win prizes. (If your group has never held any type of gaming licence and is interested in conducting a raffle with a total ticket value $10,000 or less, please complete this Eligibility for a Raffle Licence application). (LIC/GAM 5416)

The Terms & Conditions ensure the integrity of licensed raffles in Alberta and maximize the financial returns to charitable organizations. (NOTE: All raffle licences with a total ticket value of $10,000 or less, may be obtained from your local Registry Agent). (LIC/GAM 5416-2)

Raffle Ticket Inventory Control Procedures PDF

Ticket and financial control forms are a requirement for all raffle licences. These forms facilitate the physical control and monitoring of raffle tickets issued and returned and cash related thereto. Raffle Ticket Inventory Control Procedures, Inventory Control Worksheet and Prize Payout Worksheet provided. (LIC/GAM 5525-(1-3))
